Update (1/9/2012):
Hi Brandi
Thank you for asking.
I had an appointment for this Sunday when the person canceled.
I gave my schedule to her as I go up and down between Chino and Phoenix for my work.
So far no response on a re-schedule.
She had interest in the 3 year old Filly and the 5 month old filly.
So far that is the only inquiry.
I will sell the colt for $500 registered in AMHR. I have not sent in his registration incase I have to sell him for less.
I am trying to raise the money to hardship his sire into AMHA and to do the permanent registration for his dam into AMHA, his grandsire and grand dam are AMHA and AMHR.
He is tiny and I expect he will be under 30 inches at maturity. His dam is the tallest in the line and she is just at 34. His grand dam is 33, grand sire 29, sire 30. Just to list a few in his line.

North Dakota:
1. THE ANIMALI FARM
HORSES COMING UP FOR ADOPTION
By Jennifer Johns
I traveled to North Dakota September 2-9, 2012 to photograph horses that we hope to place in the next few months. Breathtaking, so beautiful, and in desperate need of homes. These are so many of them. It is hard not to get frustrated, we have worked for many years finding homes for horses coming out of these huge breeding operations. The situation in North Dakota is more complex than most others, and the numbers of horses are staggering.
I love horses. Even though I don't like the situation, I can't blame the horses for delima they are in. Every morning I woke early, excited to see the horses and hoping that my trusty camera would give us some amazing pictures to work with.
Mares, many of who I know from last fall, came galloping across the field anticipating the buckets of oats that we had filled the back of the pickup truck with. Foals cavorted around while their mothers gobbled down as many oats as they could get.
I worked hard to get good pictures of every single horse... not easy when in a large group of horses is mobbing a pickup truck for grain! I took lots of pictures and hoped for the best. There were only 5 days to photograph the horses. Daylight hours were spent driving from one field to another, and night time was spent cropping and sorting thousands of pictures. Once sorted the ranchers helped me identify each horse.
I am so grateful for my new Bamboo Mouse pad. It made the cropping much easier, allowing me to rest my injured right hand while using my left hand to use the pen based mouse pad.
I have been working steadily to get the individual horses web pages built. It is a huge job! It will probably take another week to complete. All of the horses will be posted on the web site at the same time, and we will send out an announcement to let everyone know.
There are two groups of horses that we are working with this fall. One rancher has very well bred Quarterhorses. He has most of his breeding stock, and his 2012 foal crop up for adoption. Sadly this rancher is battling lung cancer. We are hopeful that the adoption of his horses will make it easier to get through this difficult time with his health.
We are working with the SW ranch this year. Last year we were able to place many of the SW mares, geldings and foals. Adopters have done amazingly well with them. Following their progress onfacebook has been inspiring as horses have transformed from "wild" to being ridden in a matter of months.
This ranch has mostly draft mixes. There is a lot of "color" in the herds, with wildly marked pintos dotting the fields. Roans, duns, palominos, blue eyes, they are simply amazing to look at. Adopters from earlier this year are so happy with the horses that came from this ranch. It is our hope that we will be able to place ALL of the rest of them in upcoming months. Of course this is a huge task, much larger that anything Cheryl and I can do by ourselves. We are counting on horse lovers from all over to help.
YOUR DONATIONS KEEP THE ANIMALI FARM GOING!
FARM NEWS
Cheryl stayed home and took care of the farm while I was in North Dakota. She is so amazing. She and Glenn fenced in a large area for the goats. The garden is at the height of production, needing daily watering and harvesting. Cheryl and Renee did lots of canning. This is in addition to taking care of the 14 horses, 6 dogs, 16 cats, 7 goats and numerous chickens. She has worked hard to take care of everything and everyone on the farm while I focus on building web pages for the horses needing homes.
We are still desperately short on funding. It costs about $300 a week to feed the horses at The Animali Farm. Currently we have enough feed on hand for about a month, and no funding to purchase more. Donations are needed to purchase feed for the horses.
As we start putting together the next rescue effort we need to do some maintenance on the truck and trailer. Cheryl put 30,000 miles on the truck and trailer this spring delivering horses to new homes all over the United States. The truck and trailer both need tires (10 tires total) and the truck needs a tune up. There may be a bit more, but we won't know until it is looked at. With such precious cargo (including Cheryl and her father) safety is our first concern.
We are asking for donations to cover the cost of maintaining the truck, and filling up the hay shed. Your support is what keeps The Animali Farm going.
Clicking the Donate button will take you to Paypal where you can make a donation with your credit card.
Thank you!
I also photographed one North Dakota rabbit. It is not up for adoption. I was surprised at how BIG the rabbits are in North Dakota... and at what a great zoom our camera has!
The Animali Farm is a 501(c)3 non-profit horse rescue organization. We have placed well over 2000 horses into loving homes in the last 12 years. We are primarily supported by donations from horse lovers. All donations are tax deductible.

Sweetheart of a mare. Easy to catch, loves to be groomed, first one to the gate to greet you. I've owned her since she was a day old and she has been a precocious and funny girl all of her life. Excellent broodmare who has produced some of the most outstanding champagne fillies we've ever had, as well as an awesome brown stallion. One of her daughters has been exported to Germany (photo of this filly @ weaning attached). Belle Starr is a beautiful dark chocolate color with a few golden highlights on muzzle and flanks. She is extremely intelligent and loving and could easily be trained to ride. Loves baths and grooming, takes her wormer ands shots well. Excellent pedigree, moves very nicely and produces outstanding quality foals. Her sire is the all time winningest horse in SSHBEA (he is registered with both the TWHBEA & SSHBEA), dam is by WC producer The Call Judge.
Photo attached of her son, Berry'd InChocolate, at 18 mo of age. Her color is almost exactly like his. She is currently sunfaded to a lighter brown. Very trusting mare with absolutely no vices.
Price is firm, cash only. Serious inquirers please email at deercrk@peoplescom.net (deercrk @ peoplescom.net) for additional information.
