Gold N Sweet is registered to Nikita and her mother (deceased). Nikita's mother told Nikita and her two grandmothers that if she were to die Gold N Sweet was her horse and that Gold N Sweet was registered in her name to make sure her father did not take the horse from Nikita. Her father allegedly refused to allow Nikita to remove Gold N Sweet from the property and moved the horse and will not tell Nikita where she is located.

NetPosse.com IDAHO Alert AL: Sonny - Sorrel AQHA Gelding - Mobile County 12/1/09

Stolen while owner out of town over Thanksgiving holidays.

Sonny was stolen with a 2-horse white bumper pull trailer (no vin or tags) while owner on vacation during Thanksgiving. Caretaker says last saw horse Dec. 1, 2009.

There are a couple of suspects, but no leads. Sonny is a 16 hand, 12 yr old Sorrel AQHA Gelding with wide blaze and 4 high white stockings. This horse is thought to have been taken to Mississippi (possibly down Old Hwy. 90) or might still be in Mobile County.

His owner, Schyler, is beside herself. Please show her your support by contacting her though her info on the link above.

Trail Riders is Alabama and Mississippi might remember Schyler and Sonny from the Alabama Wagon Train from several years ago, the St. Jude ride in Baldwin County, or various rides in Alabama and Mississippi.

Buttons is missing outside of Beatrice, Alabama (Monroe County)
Dee, her owner, has been searching for hours with the sheriff's department.
Many may know Dee from trail rides and list groups. She is desperate to find her mare!
If you are near the area and could possibly help, please visit the page and use the contact info there.
Buttons will answer to her name. She was last seen wearing a light blue halter. She is very friendly and it is possible someone has or will pick her up!
When someone finds a horse, they often do not know who to call to report it or the info doesn't get to the right people.
Please canvas area horse sales with flyers (be watching in GA, FL, TN, MS also) in case she isn't found soon!

Description of horse:

Mare

Mustang mix

Long slender face. She is on the heavy side.

White Quarter Horse some consider a grey. Light to dark grey tiny speckling all over her body. Light slightly cream mane with some grayish black threw the mid to top of her mane. Long light cream tail. Touch of grey in the top of her tail.

Dark grayish black nose with a pink snip in the middle of her nose in the shape of a candle flame. Right front hoof has a crack, un trimmed hooves.

A rattle snake wound scar on her.

Two long black calasses one on inside of each back leg. Front left by knee has a round black callas.

Ovel nose holes.

Has a temperament..calm but rowdy when trying to halter or saddle her.

And knows her name “Dandie” and the word “treat”.

Our daughter’s horse was stolen on Nov 9, 2010 at 6:30 am from 564 N. Cortez in Apache Jct. (Cortez Rd and Scenic Rd in AJ.)

Suspect allegedly had Littleman, now called Tumbleweed, at a Charity Event in Norco, CA, in Oct. 2010
Suspect was witnessed by three persons taking the Zebra from my leased property. She told witnesses he belonged to her. He was last seen in public at Ingalls Park at a charity event where suspect was using him to promote her business. I have photos of his body all around showing his stripe patterns which are unique to each animal.
Suspect has allegedly been accused of taking other exotics from a previous employer, which has filed a police report regarding those animals.

Lilly spooked and ran off during a trail ride. She was FULLY TACKED.
This is a buckskin mare with black mane, tail and legs. Her face is greying.
It is very possible that she has been taken in by someone who doesn't know how to contact the owner.
Leslie has been searching for WEEKS with no luck ... this horse has been on the news and in the public eye, but no leads.

Marty was stolen from his pen by his house. The thieves must have known he was there as they had to walk past 20 mares and through an area.
THERE IS A WITNESS!
A white truck was seen pulling a bumper-pull trailer with big, bold horizontal strips. This trailer possibly had a dressing room so it was longer than a standard 2-horse bumper pull.
Marty's owner, Holly, does not have a computer so her business partner is helping with Internet communication. However, Holly can be contacted by phone. A picture is not available at this time.

Thieves went through several pastures, cutting fences, to steal Jewelie, a sorrel mustang mare.
There is a BLM Freeze Mark on the left side of her neck. She has a Roman nose and small snip on her nose, half-stocking on back right and sock on back left. Well-trained for western events, and has had foals.
Jewelie's owner believes that thieves might have returned last night. Possible suspect, but following any leads available.

Missing Horse Sacramento, California Please remember that the person who purchased this horse is most likely unaware that it is wanted by it's former owner and the situation that occured!



Some time in August my ex-boyfriend sold my horse with out my permission while I was out of state working. Because he kept telling me that she was doing fine, I did not find out that he sold her until after I got home in October. She was boarded on a farm next door to were my ex lives in Pleasant Grove. I am in the process of getting charges pressed on him, but am still looking for my Sweaty. I need help.

Sweaty is a buckskin roan quarter pony, paso fino cross. She has black legs with whit socks on her front right and back left legs. She is approximately 13-14hh. She has a lot of scars, most identifying is across her face by her eyes. I was told that she was sold to a girl in the Rio Linda area, but I do not know if it is true or not.

Blizzard was adopted by a couple in San Diego County, Calif. in March 2007. After 6 months they quit returning phone calls, and animal control found the address vacant. A contact on the adoption application stated the couple moved and the woman may have gone back to New Hampshire. She has experience as a vet tech.
This mare may have been sold on CRAIGSLIST about 6 months ago.

MISSING MUSTANG!!!! In COOL, CA Area (But if stolen, could show up anywhere)
Email 5/23 My Nevada mustang (not BLM - He is an Estray) Dutch, who I adopted at your show in Reno from the prison program a couple of years ago is missing or stolen. Not sure how many of your readers are from this area, but I'm trying to let everyone in the community know. Somehow our back gate got opened and all our horses and burros got out onto Safari Estates, which is hundreds or thousands of acres of horse paradise for feed and water. We found them the next evening, but it was too late and dark to round them up. The next morning all but one horse returned home on their own. Have been searching all week for any sign of Dutch. Followed fence lines, checked for hoof prints at water sources, flyers posted everywhere, local adds, called brand inspector in case he shows up at an auction, filed a report with the Sheriff and animal control. I doubt he is in the local area any more. There are so many fences and horse people I don't know why he hasn't shown up. No signs of buzzards or carnage from predators. I just don't know what else to do to find him? Any suggestions?
Email 5/27: Dutch is still missing. No sign he is dead, no sign he is still in the area and no logic why he is even gone.

Polo is a dapple grey thoroughbred that is 10 years old and 15.1 hands high. He has a distinguishing cluster of brown spots above his right eye. He has a black mane and his tail is half black and half gray. This horse is trained in jumping and polo, but was on rest for an injury at time of disappearance.
Owner trusted woman recommended by vet to help find home for Polo until he recovered in Spring 2010 from suspensory & surgery. Woman allegedly sent horse to auction (in NJ or PA) only a month later but told owner he had a good home.
Polo likes to stick out his tongue and gets very excited for his feed.

He could've either gone to a private owner, another sales barn, or an auction. He could be anywhere, this sales barn gets buyers from all over the country. There's no way I can ask the people who sold him where he went, as they legally can't tell me, it's a privacy thing for the buyer.
His registered name is Style Show. His tattoo is C43356. He had the barn name of William, but I doubt they kept that name when they sold him.
He's a 1999, 14.3hh TB gelding. Bay with a blaze, and three socks on both hind legs, and his left front.

Hi Robin, The horses went missing around the middle of July while i was in the hospital and believe me, my husband hears about it every day and will forevermore. My husband placed the horses with Randy Brown of Bonifay fl who runs the chipley fl auction and after a week and a half with the horses gone and me asking he says he gave them away to a woman way up north and he cant remember who. However he did have the registration papers and i have a hold on them with aqha which means should they try to transfer i will be notified so i may seek legal means of getting them back..the oldest horse is around 23, his name is jet, he is a palomino and turns white during the winter. He hasnt been ridden in years but does team penning, dressage and had a million miles on trail. We ponied him since he was 3 months old so he is definitely dead broke. His registered name is Barbarians Gold Warrior, aqha. He has a little white star and strip on his face. He is big, about 152 or 3 and weighed about 1200. Challenge for me, she is very stocky and also about 15.2 and 1200, we have done nothing but groundwork with her due to several car accidents in the past 5 years. She is very sweet to people but bossy to other horses. She is around nine years old, had her since she was 2. The next is a plain bay filly, she is two years old, around 15 hands lanky and would be tall when she is done. She is very sweet. Her name is Boo Boo and we hadnt sent in reg papers yet. She is by Docs Oak Acre. Ground work mostly done. I have pics of all but dont know how to post them. I have posted many many times on craigslist but am deleted within hours. If anyone out there knows anything, i am praying they are in a good home and they deserve to stay there if thats the case but as it was a horse trader and the bigger money is in meat..........well, that just stinks. Fact is, we helped him get the small animal auction going a few years back and to have this happen is devistating to me. Who would want to think it even, never mind have it happen to them.

5 horse Stolen at one time unknowing witness watching. --Thieves took five horses: a 1,300-pound stout palomino gelding; a chocolate brown Shetland pony stallion with flaxen mane and tail; a dark bay mare with an injured hip and a limp; a blue roan paint mare with large dark spots; and a paintaloosa mare that is brown and white in the front half with small brown spots on the white rear end area and four white stockings.
ALERT! Trailer and truck along with another and the horses were spotted in the miami- dade area.
Descriptions of suspects and vehicles on the website.
Shilo and Sundance were two of these horses.

Searching for New York Investment, aka Madison, bay Welsh/Arab/QH mare - Last seen Brooksville, Fl 2006 -- May be in NC
Do you know this horse? Previous owner, Kelly Rutland sold Madison to a family in Brooksville, Fl. She was supposed to remain with them. About 2-4 months later she found out Madison was sent to the Ocala horse auction with a man (contact Kelly for persons name) and was rumored to be sold to a NC gentleman.
She is desperate to make sure the mare is okay and if the owner is not happy with her, then she would gladly buy her back.
Please tell your friends. You never know where this horse may be located. She could be anywhere.

"My name is Perrin Ivey. My horses were stolen Wednesday 12/12/07. Someone rode onto my property on another horse, got my 3 horses, cut my fence at the back of my pasture, cut another fence and took them about 1 ½ to 2 miles to the road and put them onto a trailer. My 10 y/o grandson who competed on and enjoyed these horses is devastated. All three are finished Team Penning / Sorting horses that my 11 y/o and I ride. Looking for "Skip"

Hi,
I am looking for a horse that I gave to a self proclaimed "Rescue".
It was around Aug. and we were renting a place with very small amount
of acrage. We thought that we should find "Skip" a better home with
pasture. We had him for several years and loved him alot. We could not
afford to board him. A place advertised on Ocala4Sale called themselfs
New Beginnings Equine Center in Morriston, Fl. I called them seeing if
they had anyone looking for a companion horse. Well they came and
looked at him and stated they wanted him for a kids day camp they were
starting , they would use him for the kids to learn with and he would
not leave there farm, we could come visit him, ect. I even offered to
help with the farm. I went out there a few days later Alicia made it
clear that I was not welcome and skip was there horse now. My farrier
offered his services and she refused that saying her boyfrind scott did
all the feet. I left very upset figured I would come back at a later
time. I called, sent e-mails, even went there again, skip was not there.
They refuse to call me back or e-mail me back. I even offered to buy
skip back. They won't talk to me. I put a ad in Ocala4Sale,
equinehits.com and contacted BHF.

I have had several e-mails from people that have bought horses from
them and other people that were fooled like me and gave them a horse.
One lady they told the same thing to as me. Of course her horse is gone
now to. The people that bought horses from them said that they sold
them horses that were alot older then they were told. For intance She
bought a 12yr qh, turns out the horse was well into its 20's and now
non-ridable. She found the org. owners and they said The horses name
and age had been changed.
Sorry for the long story: I just want to find Skip , if he has a good
home thats great, I just want to see him. If he don't then I am more
then happy to buy him back and he will never leave my sight again.
He is a 18yr, qh, 16hh , sorrel, has a Blaze,white on both back feet,
scar on jaw bone and scar tissue on rear leg walks with a limp.
They may have changed his name and age. They still advertise on
Equinehits.com. I have pics of Skip and will send them to anyone that
wants them. Thank you for your help

Rogan & Sapphire were at a trainer's in Fairmount, GA - owner was told everything was fine. After Thanksgiving she found out phone was disconnected and when she went to his residence, she was told he'd been evicted. He disappeared with her horses, tack, goats and trailer.
Trailer was found and buyer told Tracy horses went through Hwy 20 auction then taken to an auction in Tennessee. Rogan was supposedly sold that night but Sapphire wasn't.
Rogan is a 17 hand Black Percheron/Shire cross Gelding with white blaze. Sapphire is an 18 hand Bay Belgian cross with a small star. Rogan has a crooked tail due to a back injury, and Sapphire is very pushy.
Tracy is frantic to find these horses. They are her family and she never had any intentions of parting with them. The trainer cannot be located, but Tracy needs to find the horses so she can pursue him.

Cheyenne was stolen while people watched thinking that the owner had bought a new trailer. A dark vehicle like an Excursion pulling a green horse trailer pulled up as a  white tall male wearing a white cowboy hat opened the gate unlatched a chain, moved the gate off a block freeing the other horses into a pasture. He, then, got Cheyenne to his trailer and left. The owner found the stall door cut in two pieces the next a.m. with the piece cut off leaning against the stall wall. The horse was wearing a black and leather halter. Vehicle had Fl. tag on it.

Valentino is a fully trained endurance horse working with victims of childhood sexual crimes. He is 14.2 hands, 14 years old, a sweet disposition, and requires an intermediate quality rider. Our organization has experienced over a dozen cases of vandalism in the last fourteen months. Until now, the cowards have been opening our fences to release our horses into traffic. Sunday night’s theft follows an apparent attempted theft last Wednesday of another of our endurance horses. In short, he may be a victim of a common coward or a target for revenge in response to our advocacy work in Newton County. We want Valentino home and the cowards in jail. 16 yr old Gelding, former show horse, trained for endurance and Parelli Level 3-4.

Whiskers was in front on 4 acres with 22 other horses eating his evening hay at 7pm on 2/6/10.Went to feed at 8:30 am 2/7/10 and realized that the horse was missing. It is speculated that sometime after that he was led from the pasture through the gate to a trailer in the main parking lot. There is no access within 2 miles to get a trailer near the horses except for the main parking lot at the farm or a pull-off area by the highway directly in front of the barn and owner's home. No tracks of any kind were found. All gates & fencing were intact. No other horse, tack or pieces of equipment were taken

Incident Description
Former owner went to check on horse 5 months after having to donate the horse to a rescue in Frankfort Indiana when she fell on hard times. She found him in an emaciated state 5 months after being in the rescues possession. Law enforcement was called in as well as local humane society. Previous owner was told he had been adopted and would have to remain at rescue center for another 30 days. Then after police were there, it was posted on their facebook page the following day that he had gone to his new home. The rescue will not release name of new owner and we are doubting his adoption. We believe that he has been hidden or moved because of negative publicity to the rescue center. This rescue center has a history of neglecting horses, which unfortunately we found out too late. Barrel Horses - Ziggy & Poppi Still Missing after 7 horses allegedly removed illegally - Feb. 19, 2008 - St. Joseph County, Indiana. A third horse, Cruiser, was successfully recovered April 2, 2010, at the Shipshewana auction.

Melissa's Daughter is still desperate to find the last two of her missing horses, Ziggy and Poppi.
Ziggy is a 14.2 hand, 5 yr old chestnut quarterhorse mare, trained in barrels. She has a star with a very thin stripe on her face. Ziggy's most identifying feature is a LARGE SCAR across the top of her right hip.
Poppi is a 12 hand, 5 yr old Pinto Pony. This 80% white pony is well broke with a sorrel face and blaze. He is also trained on Poles and Barrels.

NetPosse.com Idaho Alert - IN - Missing Horses in Bad Agreement - Sept 15, 2008 - Henry County
As a NetPosse Volunteer, Michelle spends countless hours distributing Idaho Alerts for other people ... now she needs YOUR help in locating her two horses missing in a bad agreement.
Not only does Michelle help NetPosse, but she is also very active in a rescue organization. Unfortunately, she trusted the wrong person at a time when she was most vulnerable. Inevitably, that person took advantage of the situation.
Instead of returning these horses to Michelle as verbally agreed, that person sold Tue, a Bay AQHA (registered as buckskin) gelding, and her 8-yr-old daughter's pony gelding, Digger (bay but almost black).
Please help Michelle find these horses! She wants to be sure they are in a good home and will take them back if she needs to.

Evidently, the people who own the horses were boarding the horses, the
land was foreclosed and the horses sent to auction without their
knowledge or permission. They are devastated and want to find their
horses and get them back.

Here is more information I received about the stolen horses:

They were last seen in bristol IN and could still be in IN or OH there

were 7 horses missing all together we found 3 in crown point which is

over 4 hours away... so these horse could be anywhere... all are broke

to ride and are kid safe and ... the all barrel race.

"Legend" was given to a rescuer March 2008 in Michigan by a woman claiming he was abandoned at her Northern Indiana farm, but he was picked up in Niles, MI.

Was "Legend" stolen? Is someone missing this beautiful, well-kept, well-trained gelding with bald face and blue eyes?

Dear Horse Friends;
Sometime during the evening of November 7th, 2011 a gate was found opened at the Serafini's (50556 Ashton Road Glenwood, IA) where Tiffany keeps her yearling filly Liv'e. 4 of the 5 horses that belong to Ray and Juanita have been returned safe and sound, my filly however has still not been located. Liv'e is a solid sorrel that stands 14 HH with a white snip on her nose as her only marking (pictured on right in photograph) I am asking that you forward this to any of your horse friends and family that may live around the Glenwood area in hopes that she turned up at someone's farm somewhere. Any information regarding Liv'e please contact Tiffany Michel at 402-706-3875, animal control, or the Sheriff's office.
The Serafini's property is surrounded by a very heavily wooded area. We will resume looking for her in the morning if anyone is free and would like to help, please give me a call.

Cynthia has had no leads on Zane ... it is like he is missing in thin air!

Zane vanished in the middle of the night in Clarksville, Iowa (Butler County), and his owner has spent countless hours and driven thousands of miles desperately trying to find him.
Zane is an 11 yr old gelding and 14.2 hh, he was a breeding stallion until recently and is only halterbroke.
Appears solid grey, but has some flea bit to him - black points include black up to knees on all four legs. His mane is short and black. His tail is short and black to white waterfall.
ALSO ... a mare has disappeared from the same area ... could this be related?
Please help her bring Zane home and let Cynthia know that she is not alone! All emails and offers of encouragement are greatly appreciated!

First, I would like to thank everyone who has responded to my ad. Especially the people who have sent me links and suggestions to help me get Rhapsody back. I'm re-posting and updating my previous ad because I

still have not found her yet. And I wanted to make this ad a little more explanatory than the last.

My FRIEND (I will call him "Bob") offered to keep my horse on his property in March of last year. He had a horse of his own, and said that my horse would be no problem. If it weren't for his offer, I wouldn't have bought her in the first place. I rode this horse and helped her original owner train her since I was a

little girl. She lived just down the street from me. I worked with her and rode her for many years, and when I graduated h.s. and moved out, I didn't ride her anymore. In February of last year, I ran into the owner

in the grocery store. He said he had tried to track me down many times, with no luck. He had a family now, and Rhapsody and her mother, Rose, were not getting the riding time they deserved. So he offered to sell

Rhapsody to me, and only me, as he knew the great connection I had with her as a young girl. I talked it over with my husband, and later had mentioned it to our friend, "Bob", who immediatly offered to let her

stay on his farm. Since we moved up to this area 3 years ago, we helped Bob daily on his farm, tending to his animals, mowing his property, cutting hay, and many other countless favors. So for him to offer to

keep our horse for us made sense. We offered money, but he insisted we not pay anything, since we had continuously helped him and saved him money and time.

He accompanied us to the owner's home with his truck and trailer and drove her to his farm. He put her in with his quarter horse and everything seemed to be working out perfectly. We provided feed, and fed both his horse and ours, as well as continuing to help with other chores on the farm. Shortly after we moved our horse to his farm, he started making advances towards me. I told my husband about how uncomfortable I was alone with "Bob", so from that point on, my husband started doing most of the chores, and I never went to the farm alone when he was home.

It was not until recently that "Bob's" mother passed away and he was expecting an inheritance. With the smell of money in the air, a money hungry ex-girlfriend of his quickly moved in. Each time me, my husband,

and my daughters would go to the farm, his girlfriend would follow us around, yell at my kids, and acted very territorial. That made it even more uncomfortable for us. We offered several times to move the horse, and each time, "Bob" would tell us the horse was not an issue. We believe the girlfriend may have played a part in the disappearance of my horse.

There was never a boarding fee and the term 'boarding' was never even mentioned. This was a matter of a 'friend' helping a 'friend'. Rhapsody was last seen April 22. We received a phone call May 5th from "Bob", but when we tried to call back, there was no answer. So my husband drove out to the farm. It was then that "Bob" told us he sold her to a local sale barn. Since then, his story has changed multiple times, one rumor being that he shot her and left her in his field. But his latest claim was that he sold her to a well known Kansas horse auction (I will not mention the name on here, but if you ask, I will tell). I have spoke to the owner of this sale barn countless times, and he claimed that he would call me as soon as he had the sale records. He has called me back over and over, stating that he has been too busy to review them. I am still awaiting the phone call with the sale records. I contacted My County Sheriff's Department regarding the disappearance of Rhapsody, but they said it is a "civil matter" and told me I cannot file a police report. But now I know different. I have spoken to many people for advice, including a lawyer, a retired police officer, and many horse advocates. The general feedback is that since he is admitting that the horse was mine and he sold it without permission(even to the sheriff), he has committed a criminal act of deceptive and larcenous theft.

So with the police refusing to assist me in any way, I am now in contact with the County Attorney and Kansas C-Post. But in the meantime, I plead for everyones help. Please keep an eye out for my horse. She may still be around or at auctions. She is a registered Arabian Mare. She is 25 years old and is starting to show her age. She is grey in the winter, but in the spring/summer, turns greyish/white

with red freckles. She tends to be a little skittish and nervous in unfamiliar environments, and will pace in circles and become very vocal. Although I am sure this horse is not worth a great dollar amount, she is of HUGE sentimental value to me and my family. If you know of her whereabouts, have seen her at an auction, or know of anyone else that may be willing to help me, please contact me ASAP. I will not stop looking. And though it may be too late to track her down, I will see that the person responsible, my friend that betrayed me, will be held responsible for what he has done. I am now offering a reward for the safe return of Rhapsody or any information leading me to her.

Attached is the only pictures I have on my computer. They were taken a week BEFORE I picked her up last year, and she was muddy. Thank you everyone for your help.

I was able to speak to a Sheriff's officer in KS and he got a search warrant today for the property where my mare was last seen. She is "out on pasture" according to Buyer, but she would not tell them where. She said Osage County. Not sure if that is true or not … I have asked Buyer to tell me the whereabouts of the mare and where I can have someone pick her up. I have not gotten an answer, thanks for your help. I do not know if she is telling the truth, but I do now know the mare is not on her property.

MISSING/STOLEN ASBS FROM KY

The horses were sent to a female trainer, who lived with and was involved in a relationship with the barn owner. The relationship fell apart and the female trainer left the horses and moved out of state. The owner of the farm contacted me and advised me of the situation. I began making arrangements to ship them home. I could not reach the farm owner for almost a week and when I did he informed that he had been out of town for the weekend and when he returned the horses were gone and he was pleasantly surprised. He never called to inquire. He has no idea he claims who took the horses. Upon this notification I called and notified the sheriff and subsequently found out that this individual is involved in an on going investigation with state authorties (very serious). The theory is that he could not wait around for the hauler to pick up the horses as he has been avoiding questioning by the authorities and will not answer their calls. His whereabouts is really not known at this time, his office says he does a lot of traveling. We are using every available source known to get the word out about our horses. Here is their description: 6 year old chestnut (copper red) with four high white stockings (over the knee) and a beautiful white blaze. He is green broke to ride, does not have his tail cut. I purchased him and he was not registered and I was waiting for the DNA kit to register him. He is very flashy and would catch your eye, especially due to his 4 leg markings. The second horse is a 4 year old jet black stud colt, with 3 white socks, white star and snip, he is broke to drive and green broke to ride. Also very flashy looking and big. He is registered, does not have his tail cut. Both are very kind and very mannerly, especially the stud colt. The horses were paid up to date.
If anyone has any information you can call the Campbellsville Sheriff's Dept. 270-465-4351 and ask for Deputy Benningfield. Thank you for your help, it is a traumatic time for us.

Here are the pics of the boys with their descriptions. PLEASE keep an eye out for them!
"BUCKEYE" Approximately 15.1-15.3 hands. Black American Saddlebred Stallion with black mane and tail. White mark on his forehead irregularly shaped almost like the state of Ohio. White stripe beginning in middle of face, widening out and continuing down to nose. White on top of lip on left side. Front legs white in front until middle of foreleg, white runs higher in back of front legs to a point at back of knees. White on left hind to middle of foreleg. Right hind heel bulb on right side white. Tail is natural and has not been cut.

"SOCKS":

Approximately 15.1-15.3 Hands. RED CHESTNUT American Saddlebred Gelding. Bright copper red color with red mane and tail. LARGE white stripe from top of forehead down and covering nose and nostrils. White on bottom lip and chin. Four high white stockings on legs, front legs white goes over the knees, back legs white comes up to the hocks. Tail is natural and has not been cut

lost/missing/sotlen paint mare (Midway/Lexington/Georgetown, Kentucky)

Back in July a recieved a call from the owner of the barn. She knew I was trying to find a good home for my 16 year old paint mare Lacie. She had a lesson barn that wanted to take my mare on trial. I agreed she could go on trial but I never agreed they could keep her. She was busy so I tried being patient. I emailed her a couple of times and she didn't get back to me. I tried again and finally she told me she had given the people my information and they could contact me if they wanted to. I emailed her back and told her that I wasn't happy with that I wanted their contact info. I explained I wanted to check out Lacie's new home and ensure she was safe. I also wanted to work out her paperwork as I had her APHA papers. She is a registered mare, and is very well bred. I also wanted to discuss what they would do if they no longer wanted her. Lastly and most importantly I wanted to say goodbye. She was my first horse and as i was out of town I never got the chance. She refused to give me the info and was admant I would not recieve it. I explained to her I didn't want to take legal action but I had to ensure my horse was safe and that I would if need be. I don't want to so that so I am hoping someone else will help me find her so that the people who have her can keep her. I just want to know she's safe and loved. She's sorrel and white paint, she is overo with a white face and one blue and one brown eye. She left Brannon stables sometime around August fifteenth. The lady may have sold her to you and if she did she did you a grevious wrong because the horse was free. I wasn't looking to sell her. Based on her reaction and what she said to me, and consultation with my lawyer we believe she sold her. Frenchie and Wess are missing from a boarding farm in Danville. After the farm owner allegedly kept the horses' owner from accessing the horses or removing them, the owners were able to get authorities to accompany them to pick up their 16 horses. Allegedly the horses had been starved and one couldn't be saved.
Frenchie and Wess were not with the other horses!
These horses belong to the owner's daughter. They are her show horses, but also her best friends!
PLEASE HELP FIND FRENCHIE & WESS!
The owner is pursuing charges through the judicial system in an effort to upgrade to theft.

Family Searches For Stolen Horses

Horses Stolen

A Madison County family is searching for four horses after someone stole the animals right out of their field.

It happened just outside of Waco, on the Madison, Estill County line.

The family says they believe the person that took the horses has already sold them.

The Young's say they've had one of the horses for 16 years. Another one of them is pregnant and ready to foal.

In all, they say four horses were stolen and they cannot seem to find them.

Michelle Young has posted flyers and posters at Central Kentucky auctions and horses sale, but with no success yet.

She says one of the mare's has a unique marking on it's leg and would be easy to recognize.

Need info on horse auctions held in late Dec and Jan at WKU at Smith's Grove KY.

If you have attended a horse auction in Kentucky in December or January you may have valuable information needed by NetPosse.com, aka Stolen Horse International. Information that could help save a horse and return it back to its young owner.

We are trying to get a lead on all the sales dates in late December through early January of sales held at WKU. If you attended any of these sales or know someone who may have we would like to talk to you by email or by phone.

We need the following info:

What date did you attend the sale at WKU?

What day of the week was the auction?

Who was running the auction?

What type of horses were at the auction? Gaited, QH, all kinds, grade?

Did you happen to notice anyone selling horses outside of the auction without registering them with the auction as required?

If so, can you describe what you saw?

Do you know anyone who may have bought a horse outside of the auction gates? (We are not trying to get anyone in trouble for doing so but if you did you may have very important info that is greatly needed to save a horse.)

Do you have any other information that could be helpful that we have not thought to ask or important tips?

We appreciate any help that you can offer. There is no piece of information that is too small or unimportant.

Someone who most likely knew where this victim stored their saddles entered the property and stole two western saddles between Aug 23 and 28 from their horse trailer.
Keep your eyes open for these saddles that could be auctioned online or pawned. Please post flyers at your local tack shops and auctions.
