Sherman, New York Auction Report

18 June 2011

I was sent this auction report from a concerned horse owner who was willing to go to this auction and do her best to get information for me about the horses and the prices they sold for.  I am grateful to her for doing so considering how difficult it is to sit through an auction knowing that you can't take anyone home.  Thanks!

Sherman, NY Auction

You know its sad I have been breeding quarter horses for many years now and we decided not to at this point. we are not gelding our studs or selling them but its time to take a break the horse industry is so bad right now I can not see adding to it at this point. I have wonderful foundation bred real good quality quarters and I still sell some but the auctions are breaking my heart. I have about 20 horses of my own to care for and all are in wonderful loved condition.

OK here goes this was what happened. I drove in and regretted immediately that i didnt have my trailer I knew this was going to be really bad. next to none of these horses had papers and this isnt a complete list I couldnt stay all day. there were some awsome horses and some really neglected horses there.
