Broker and Feedlot Horses |
|
This is a list of horses that were purchased at
auction by a broker or feedlot. They are given a short amount of
time to find homes and if homes are not found, then they are either sent
to another auction or to slaughter. The rescues listed are given
permission to assist with finding homes for the horses. If you are
interested in a horse listed below, please contact the blue highlighted contact below. Please note that I do not have any direct
contact with the brokers or feedlot operators (or affiliated with the
rescues or fundraising), this is just a listing to
help them get more exposure. They are only listed until they find
homes or the broker has a new group of horses.
|
The list is color coded to try to help you figure out where the horses are located and contact information.
A pink highlight indicates the number of the horse on the list.
A green highlight indicates the location (usually city and state).
A blue highlight indicates the contact information.
A purple highlight indicates special circumstances.
A yellow highlight
indicates a weanling, yearling, or that the horse is possibly kid broke.

| 18 - 20 Jan: Washington:
1. (Note from Brandi: This is from a forward, so I don’t know anything more than what you see here.)
if anyone has contacts in WA who might be able to help keep these horses out of the slaughter pipeline? They all look to be nice horses, reasonably priced at $400 for horses and $250 for mini donks.
The horses are at the Enumclaw Sales Pavillion and will ship to slaughter if not sold. There are 6 horses and 5 mini donkey jennies.
